This is the page where general settings are configured for widgets and scenarios to be used in the Recommendation module.


Templates & Params

It is the domain where the themes for email scenarios and the parameters for these themes are defined. For further information about Email Scenarios, you can check the E-Mail Playbooks page.

You can access the Templates & Params page by clicking Settings Icon>Personalization Center> Recommendation> Templates & Params.

Creating/Editing MailServer Template

You can make the required identification for MailServer contact by clicking the New Template button on the Templates & Params screen. You can use the edit button located under the Action tab of the MailServer theme to edit for an existing MailServer theme.

  • Template Name: This is the field where the name for the theme is determined for email scenarios.

  • Template Description: It is the field where you can enter description text for the created theme.

  • Relationships

    • Template Parameters: It is the field where the parameters to be used in the themes are selected.

    • Scenarios: It is the area that indicates in which existing theme can be used for which scenarios.(The same theme can be defined for multiple scenarios.)


Creating / Editing Template Parameter

You can make the required definitions for the theme parameters by clicking the New Template Parameter button on the Templates & Params screen. You can use the edit button located under the Action tab of the theme parameter to make arrangements for an existing theme parameter.

  • Parameter Key: It is the field where the value to be determined for the use of the parameter is entered.(While creating the theme definition, it is displayed with the value entered here in the parameters field.)

  • Parameter Type: It is the field where the type of created parameter is selected.

    • Subject: It is selected when it is requested to define a theme for the email subject line.

    • Body Text: It is selected when it is desired to define a theme related to the variable to be included in the email text.

    • Campaign Tracking Parameters: It is selected when a theme is defined for campaign tracking parameters.If you want to analyze campaigns with certain parameters such as Google UTM campaign parameters, you can define the same parameters for each campaign at once with the theme of the parameter defined here instead of adding parameters to campaigns every time.

    • Box: It is selected when it is requested to define a theme related to suggestion boxes to be included in email campaigns.

  • Parameter Description: It is the field where you can enter description text for the created parameter.

  • Is Mandatory: "Yes" should be selected if the created parameter should be used for the scenario.

  • Relationships

    • MailServer Templates: In this field, you can determine to select which parameters used for which MailServer themes.


Avg Order Day By Cat.

It is the field where the file containing the average order days of the products used in Replenishment scenarios and ordered regularly, such as fast-moving products, is loaded.

You can reach Avg Order Day By Cat page by clicking Settings Icon> Personalization Center> Recommendation> Avg Order Day By Cat.

You can transfer the data file to the system by clicking the Import Data button on the Avg Order Day By Cat screen.
