Sending a Test Push Notification

Before sending out a push notification campaign to your app users, you may want to test it to make sure it looks right and operates in the intended manner. Sending test messages to select devices or members of your team is very simple using the RMC Test feature.

Creating a Test List  

To create a test list:  

  1. Go to Settings, select Campaign Management.

  2. Select Subscription Management.

  3. Click on Test Lists.

Once you setup a Test List, you can utilise it to test any of your campaign channels.

You can also view, edit and add your Test Lists from the Campaign Management Panel screen.


Sending a Push Campaign to a Test List 

You can start the process

  • By following  Campaign > Push > Test path from top or side menu 
  • Selecting Draft on Campaign Management Panel


After this step you'll be redirected to Push Test screen.
  • Select a Push Campaign from dropdown menu.
  • After selecting the test list from Test Lists panel, you can start the test by clicking the Send button. 


Viewing Results Of A Test Campaign 

You can view the status of your test campaign from Campaign Management Panel, and start the actual campaign after finishing the arrangements.   

To view the results of your test campaign:

  • Follow the Campaign > Campaign Management path. 
  • By filtering Test Campaigns by Channel under the Test tab, you can view the results of your Test Campaign.
