Create P12 File

Step 1 - Requirements

  • An iOS mobile application

  • A Apple Developer Account with Admin Role.

  • A RMC Account

  • A Mac computer with Xcode 11+

  • Your Xcode project should have the Push Notification capability added. Otherwise your project may not be shown in the Apple Developer Center.

Step 2 - Provisioning

  1. Open the Keychain Access app on your Mac OS X system. It may be located in Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access.

  2. Select Keychain Access > Certificate Assistant > Request a Certificate From a Certificate Authority...

     

On the screen that opens, choose Saved to disk. Enter your e-mail address and click Continue.

Login to your Apple Developer Account and click Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles

Click Identifier from the left menu and select your application

Scroll down the screen and select Push Notifications. Do not click the Configure button. Click Save button.

Go to Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles and click plus button

Scroll down to the Services section and select Apple Push Notification service SSL (Sandbox & Production) and click Continue

Click Choose File.., select the CertificateSigningRequest.certSigningRequest file you saved in the first step, click Open, and then click Continue.

Click the Download button on the page that will open and download the aps.cer file.

Double-click the downloaded aps.cer file

After a few seconds, the Keychain Access program should open. Select Login > My Certificates, then right-click on your key in the list and select Export.

Enter a password for the p12 file and click the OK button. Enter your computer password if prompted.

Step 3 - Add P12 file to application in RMC Panel

Click setting button at the top right and select Campaign Management >  Push Applications> YOUR APPLICATION

On the screen that opens, select your certificate and enter the password you set for your certificate.
