Target Settings

This is the page including visitor configurations, channel restrictions, and widget theme definitions for target actions.

Visitor Settings

It is the field where known and anonymous visitors visiting the website are structured to hold historical data for the actions they take on the site.

You can access the Visitor Settings page by clicking the Settings Icon> Personalization Center> Target> Visitor Settings.

Visitor Options

Visitor Options

Enable Purchase History: Selected when visitors wish to save a purchase history.
Enable product View History: Selected when visitors wish to save a product viewing history.
Enable Category View History: Selected when visitors wish to save a category viewing history.
Enable Page View History: Selected when visitors wish to save a page view history.
Enable Tag History: Selected when visitors wish to save a purchase history.

Enable Anonymus Visitor History: Selected when anonymous visitors wish to save a history of the actions they take on the site.
Enable Basket History: Selected when visitors wish to save a shopping cart history.

Custom Defined Visitor Options

In addition to the visitor options, custom options can be identified for the known and unknown visitors for the actions taken on the site by clicking the Add New button.

Authenticated Visitor: Known / Registered users.
Anonymous Visitor: Unknown / Anonymous users.(Enable Anonymous Visitor History option must be selected to identify a custom option for anonymous visitors.)
- Event Type: The custom option is the field where the defined action type (event type) is selected.
- Time Window in days: This is the field that is identified how until many days ago the past data should be kept for the selected Event Type.
- Event Count: It is the field where the last few actions to be taken for the selected Event Type in the past period (Time Window in days) are specified.

Limits

It is used when you wish to restrict daily and weekly periods for Target action-based submissions made through push and SMS channels.

You can access it by choosing Settings Icon> Personalization Center> Target> Channel Limits to the Channel Limits page.

Sms (Daily) Limit: If you want to use a daily limit for SMS sending, the value is entered in this field.
Sms (Weekly) Limit: If you want to use a weekly limit in sending SMS, the value is entered in this field.
Push (Daily) Limit: If you want to use daily limit in push transmissions, the value is entered in this field
Push (Weekly) Limit: If you want to use a weekly limit in push transmissions, the value is entered in this field.

Template Definitions

It is the field where the HTML theme is identified for widgets to be featured on the website.

You can access the Template Definitions page by clicking Settings Icon> Personalization Center> Target> Template Definitions.

Creating / Editing Themes

You can make the required identifications to create a widget theme by clicking the New Template Definition button on the Template Definitions screen. To edit an existing widget theme; you can use the edit button next to the widget theme.


Master Template:	It is the field where the master theme is defined for the Widget.	HTML	Mandatory
Item Template:	It is the field where the product theme of the display products in the widget is defined.	HTML	Mandatory
Separator Template:	It is the field where the brace theme required to separate the products to be displayed in the widget is defined.	HTML	Optional
Discount Template:	It is the field where the discount theme is defined to be used in the Item Template.	HTML	Optional
Free Shipping Template:	It is the field where the free shipping theme is defined to be used in the Item Template.	HTML	Optional
Same Day Shipping Template:	It is the field where the theme of same-day shipping is defined to be used in the Item Template.	HTML	Optional
