This page gives detailed and step by step introduction to set up RMC Target - Geofencing module.

Please check your Visilabs iOS and Android SDKs are updated to the latest version.

 

 

 

 

 

  1. On your dashboard screen, choose Target icon  - from the top navigation menu to move the Target section. 

 


 


 

  1. Choose Geofences -  - from the left Panel and please Click Allow -  on the  pop-up alert to share your location with RMC  application

  2. To create your Geofence Zone, You have to start with click on New Definition button  - .

 

 

 

 

 


 

 

  1. Give name to your geofence zone, from the Description bar on top of the opened screen. 

  2. Click the Geofence icon - which has located top-middle of the map. 

  3. Choose your initial point. 

  4. Determine the radius of your geofence by simply dragging the pointer to desired place on the map. 

  5. Click Save button -  - to save your geofence definition


 

Geofence zone was successfully set up.

 


 

You need to configure Targeting Actions to send push messages.

  1. Click Targeting Actions button -   -from the left panel to move Targetting Actions page 
  2. Click on New Targetting Action  - button to start generating a Push Notifications for your geofence zone. 

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

 

  1. Start with choosing the Type of the Targeting Action Form as Geofence from the scroll bar.
  2. Give a name to your targeting action, something related with your geofence zone is recommended.
  3. Fill Pages to be Applied zone with a single star (*), to prevent page limitations when the action is triggered.
  4. Choose your mobile platforms.
  5. Image or Text. Determine the type of your push message.

 

 



 


 

 

 

  1. Enter your message detail as text. 
  2. Choose the geofence to be trigered from the Geofences list. 
  3. Choose the triger option as OnEnter, On Exit or Dwell 
  4. Choose the start date of your campaign(Valid From)
  5. Choose the end date of your campaign(Valid Through
  6. Choose a Capping Type to show your message in a specific time interval. OPTIONAL
  7. Add Target URL to your push message to redirect the users onto your web page.  OPTIONAL
  8. Set tracking parameters for the campaigns that you want to send  OPTIONAL
  9. Determine a Target Rule to limit your send list (send your campaign to specific users) OPTIONAL
  10. Click Save button -  - to save your Geofence Push Campaign.
