A Geofence is a virtual perimeter that you can draw around real-world physical locations. Geofences can be small (less than 100 m in radius), large (many miles in radius), or any size in between. Geofences are placed around areas where you want to target your customers when they are around your store or visiting a particular location (attending an event, coming to the airport, etc.). Geofences are circular in shape and are defined by a center point (latitude and longitude) and a radius in meters. RMC uses Geofences to define zones to send location based push notifications.
