When your visitors open different tabs on your website, apply different tab names so that they come back to the site again!



Setting Up

  1. Type a Name for the action in the Title box


  2. Select Status:

    1. When Active: When you turn Active status on, the Targeting Action starts.

    2. InactiveWhen Passive: When you turn Passive status on, the Targeting Action ends


  3. Pages to be Applied:  Type the page URL(s) where the pop-up will be shown. Type '*' to apply Scratch to Win on all pages across the entire site.


  4. Choose Tab Name Update from the Type drop down menu.




Properties

  1. Tab Names: You can add a maximum of 10 tab names, the names are applied randomly. 

  2. Add Tab Name: Click here if you want to add a new tab name.(For example, if a user has 2 tabs open on one site, you may have "We Miss You" in one, and "Come Back" in the other.)

  3. Wait In Seconds: The amount of time to wait (in seconds) before changing tab name when a user switches to another tab.

  4. Update Interval (sec.): Here you can select how frequently the tab name is updated.

  5. Set Tracking Parameter: Targeting Action uygulandığı an; ziyaretçi adına bir Event oluşturulmak istendiğinde seçilir. Tracking Value alanına yazılacak değer EventName olarak geçerlidir. Bu işlem Targeting Action uygulanan kişilerin takibi ve o kişilere dönük kural uygulanabilmesi için yapılmaktadır. Timing and Time Range

  1.  Define a time interval for Show Random Products action:

    • Valid From – The start date and time of the action.
    • Valid Through – The date and time you want the action to be valid until.

  1. OPSIYONEL Capping (kısıtlama): The number of times that any one person sees your Targeting Action.
    • Visit: The maximum number of times that any one person sees your Targeting Action in one visit.

    • VisitorThe maximum number of times that any one person sees your Targeting Action in all visits.

    • Hourly (Saatlik), Daily (Günlük), Weekly (Haftalık), Monthly (Aylık): The maximum number of times that any one person sees your Targeting Action in selected time interval 

    A threshold value is defined using Capping Count for all types of capping.




Defining Target Audience

  • You need to check the relevant rule title boxes in the Targeting Rules so that the action is only applied to specific visitors.
  • Select rule from Target Rules tab to define target audience.
  • You can connect several rules using AND or OR logic operators.
