Scratch to Win

Lure customers into making a purchase by adding gamification to your digital marketing!

You can collect subscriber data by inserting an "email subscription" form in Scratch to Win card or you can set it up to appear (on exit intent) without an "email subscription" form and lure your customers into making a purchase with a promotion code, etc.



Setting Up 

  1. In the Title box type a Name for the exit intent. 


  2. Select Status:

    1. When Active: When you turn Active status on, the Targeting Action starts.

    2. When Passive: When you turn Passive status on, the Targeting Action ends. 


  3. Pages to be Applied: Type the page URL(s) where the pop-up will be shown. You can add multiple page URLs. Use comma (,) to separate multiple values. Type '*' to apply Scratch to Win on all pages across the entire site.


  4. Choose Scratch to Win from the drop down menu.




Properties 


  1. Promotion Campaign: Promotion codes (Unique random codes generated for each subscriber. You can select the appropriate promocode uploaded on Target>Promotion Campaign from the drop down menu.)

  2. Static Promocode: This code needs to be added manually and the same code is used for every customer. A value should be assigned in case you run out of promocodes.

  3. Scratch Color: You can select scratch color from the palette. If not selected, default color will be applied.

  4. Style: You can select Scratch To Win Lightbox or Exit Intent Pop-Up.

  5. Wait In Seconds: The amount of time to wait (in seconds) before Scratch To Win is triggered.

  6. Content: Pop-up design is embedded as HTML. Note: The HTML code has to include <%ScratchToWinBox%> and <%MailSubscriptionForm%> tags.




Adding Mail Subscription Form;

If you want to add mail subscription form into Scratch To Win, first check Add Mail Subscription Form box and fill in the fields below.

  1. Title: Title of the Subscription Form. 

  2. Text: See picture: Mailini bırak, scratch, promocode kazan.

  3. Textbox placeholder: The text which is displayed in your input element before your user has inputted. 

  4. Button label: Title of the button.

  5. Consent Text: The name of the consent text check box which is visible to your users.

  6. Terms of Use Link: Link to your terms of use. (Ex.: www.relateddigital.com)




Timing and Time Range

  1.  Define a time interval for Scratch to Win action:

    • Valid From – The start date and time of the action .
    • Valid Through – The date and time you want the action to be valid until.

  1. OPTIONAL Capping: The number of times that any one person sees your Targeting Action.
    • Visit: The maximum number of times that any one person sees your Targeting Action in one visit.

    • Visitor: The maximum number of times that any one person sees your Targeting Action in all visits.

    • Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly: The maximum number of times that any one person sees your Targeting Action in selected time interval. 

    A threshold value is defined using Capping Count for all types of capping.






Defining Target Audience


  • You need to check the relevant rule title boxes in the Targeting Rules so that the action is only applied to specific visitors.
  • Select rule from Target Rules tab to define target audience.
  • You can connect several rules using AND or OR logic operators.




First, you need to define rules from Targeting Rules to define the most suitable target audience for the desired Targeting Action.
